Game-based learning is such a new way for teachers to think, and it certainly has a long way to go in convincing many teachers and other stakeholders that it has a place at all in the classroom.  Join us on August 23rd when educational game producer Mangahigh’s Chris Green will share his research on the educational value of games, with ideas for you on how to strengthen the way you defend game-based learning with wary colleagues and parents. For the past three years, he has gone into schools in Florida, Lebanon, Australia, and other places to work with educators to find the best ways to measure the benefits of game-based learning.  He’ll bring both quantitative and qualitative results from his investigations to demonstrate how a game-based approach to math can improve students’ attitudes about math as well as their performance scores.  Join Chris on August 23rd to learn new ways to evaluate and advocate for the educational games that you are using with your students.
