TakingITGlobal for Educators (TIGed) is a non-profit organization whose aim is to empower classrooms to understand and act collaboratively on the world's greatest challenges. We do this by supporting educators to utilize technology to create transformative learning experiences for their students. Through this work, classrooms everywhere become actively engaged and connected in shaping a more inclusive, peaceful, and sustainable world.
At TIGed, we believe that future friendly schools prepare students for the world by utilizing technology to engage them as learners and leaders in three key areas: global citizenship; student voice; and environmental stewardship.
Join us for this open house to explore the TIGed's offerings including a global community of educators, free classroom resources, a virtual learning platform, and global programs, and meet other educators interested in collaborating on global projects.
